This applies equally to Arlington Baths Club members during The Sunday Swim hours.
All those who attend are expected to be respectful towards others. The Sunday Swim is a place where everyone should feel welcome, comfortable and safe.
Any conduct which makes people feel uncomfortable or which could be viewed as likely to make others feel uncomfortable will result in a member of the door team or a member of staff speaking to the participant and either issuing a warning or banning them from future swims.
The following examples are deemed to be unacceptable behaviour:
Offering or performing massages (including for someone you know well).
Following someone around or trying to engage with them.
Being overly affectionate or intimate.
Deliberately watching someone.
Commenting on someone’s appearance.
Sexually explicit comments or behaviour, verbal or non-verbal; or any comment or behaviour of a racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic or other discriminatory nature.
Please remember to cover up with your sheet or towel before leaving the pool/sauna areas. Towels must be worn in the slipper room/cloakroom, pool office, public areas including the foyer and members’ lounge (bar), stairs and corridors, and when moving from downstairs to the upstairs part of the premises. Gym clothing must be worn in the gym.
When sitting or lying down, always place a towel or sheet beneath you.
All mobile phones or devices with a camera should be locked away. Under no circumstances are pictures to be taken on the premises without permission from The Sunday Swim Team.
Men: in the event of an erection, cover up discreetly, and if necessary leave the premises. Public exhibition will result in expulsion from the swim. Genital accessories are not acceptable.
If you witness, or are subject to, any unwanted or inappropriate behaviour, please speak to a member of the door team or pool staff immediately so that we can take action.
